Succession, sale or reorganisation always involve guiding an established structure into a new phase. Owners are faced with decisions that go far beyond numbers and often have no easy solution.

In such situations, I work directly with owners in these situations – whether entrepreneurs, family offices, or investment holdings. Together, we create clarity, organise the options and develop a solution that is both commercially and personally viable. Discreet, structured and with the aim of not only advising but also sharing responsibility.

I bring experience from over 150 such situations. I understand the dynamics between owners, management and investors and know where decisions get blocked or fail. The decisive factor is not theory, but the ability to assess a situation correctly and lead it to a viable solution.

Being an entrepreneur means taking responsibility for people, structures, and the whole

Direct work with owners in acquisitions, sales and restructuring.

Selling a business

Are you considering selling your business, realizing a strategic exit, or planning succession? I work directly with you throughout the process. The focus is on finding a solution that makes economic sense and works for you personally.

Selling a business is about more than price. It is about who takes over, what happens next, and whether the timing is right. Many processes fail for exactly this reason: they are formally well structured, but the substance is not clear. These questions are clarified before going to market. What is the right solution? Which buyers or investors are a fit, and which are not? On this basis, the process is run in a focused and targeted way.

Case study
An owner is preparing for an exit. Two sale processes have failed, not because of the market, but because the underlying objectives were unclear. We reset the process, first defining the owner's priorities and then approaching the market in a targeted way. Result: a sale to the right partner, a clear handover, and a future-proof solution for the business and its owner.

Acquiring a business

You want to grow through acquisitions or targeted takeovers. I work directly with you from strategic clarity through to closing.

Acquisitions rarely fail because of the numbers. They fail because key questions are addressed too late, particularly around the role of the seller, leadership and integration. I get involved before targets are defined. We first establish what kind of company is the right fit for you, strategically, structurally and culturally. On this basis, the market is approached in a focused way and critical issues are clarified early.

Case study
A holding company is looking to grow further. Two transactions fail shortly before closing because expectations do not align. We refine the search criteria and address critical points early in the process. Result: sale completed with the right buyer and a clean transition.

Restructuring a business

Your business is under pressure. I work directly with you to establish clarity and implement the right decisions.

When a business comes under pressure, the issue rarely lies in isolated measures. The key questions are: is the business model future-proof? Is leadership set up in the right way? Where do you need to act, and where not? I start by establishing a clear view of the situation. On this basis, we define the measures that truly matter and prioritise them by impact. I take responsibility for implementation.

Case study
A company is operating well but comes under structural pressure. The bank starts asking questions and internally, decisions are delayed. We create transparency quickly, make clear decisions and implement prioritized measures. Result: business stabilised and leadership back in control.
